A place for people of any experience level to join the world of competitive skydiving..

If you've ever wanted to jump out of a plane, then this is the club for you!
We run skydiving training courses at the beginning and middle of every academic year, no prior experience required.

Membership Information

These are the current membership plans offered by Skydive, although many groups offer a free period for new members to try out their group.

  • Year Membership (£45)
    It covers the cost of transport to events and competitions and it also contributes to transport costs for training courses. Membership fees are included in the price of our first jump courses. The membership entitles club members to refunds for competition entries, some events throughout the year, and a BPA membership subsidary.

We are Southampton University Aerial Sports Society.If you are interested in pole fitness, aerial hoop or aerial silks then this is the society for you!All the details about the society can be found at sassoc.org, and you can find out more about the lessons here:Pole lessons info - sassoc.org/poleHoop lessons info - sassoc.org/hoopSilks lessons info - sassoc.org/silksAs a society, we offer free weekly practice sessions on Wednesday afternoons 3-5pm and Saturday evenings (6-8pm on a sign up basis) for pole and hoop for members, as well as the option to sign up to discounted silks practice sessions. We hold members only lessons for pole and hoop on campus on Wednesdays, pole at the Newtown Youth and Community Centre on Fridays and silks lessons down at the Quays on Mondays. All of these can be signed up to via our website.We also host showcases each year, and compete in various competitions such as Varsity (which we won last year).Were a very friendly society and we welcome anyone who wants to come and learn aerial sports with us! :)You can also sign up to the society via our website sassoc.org/membership ALL SIGN UPS MUST BE DONE VIA THE WEBSITE and you can either pay us via online banking or in cash at practice sessions / lessons.
